Do You Need a Vapor Barrier?
A vapor barrier is a special material that doesn’t let moisture pass through. It is designed to protect the insulation as well as the internal surfaces of the home from possible moisture penetration.
If the vapor barrier is not used, a significant amount of water can condense on both sides of the roof. Moisture will penetrate the pores of building materials and lead to the formation of fungi, the destruction of supporting beams on the cold attic ceiling, etc.
What is a Radiant Barrier?
A radiant barrier is a layer of reflective material installed in an Attic to redirect the radiant heat that comes from the sun. When it's hot, the radiant barrier helps to block the entrance of the radiant heat to the home. This increases the efficiency of the insulation installed in the attic, resulting in increased energy savings and lower energy costs.

The easiest way to de-clutter your home is to turn that neglected space beneath your roof into a free, in-home storage facility. With an attic ladder, that’s easily done.
Whatever your requirements, we have the ladder that will give you safe and easy access to your roof space and then fold neatly away when not in use.
First and foremost, we’re concerned with your safety. We’re always mindful of the fact that people of all shapes, sizes and ages might choose to climb up into an attic. We ensure that you choose a ladder that not only fits the height and space available, but is perfectly suited to the needs of those who will use it.
We need light! It not only brightens our homes but makes them look and feel bigger. The beauty of a skylight or roof window is that it can let in light a lot more light than typical side windows due to the angle.
A powered attic ventilator, or attic fan, is a ventilation fan which regulates the heat level of an attic by exhausting hot air. A thermostat is used to automatically turn the fan off and on. An attic fan can be gable mounted or roof mounted.
An attic fan is an affordable investment that can significantly reduce utility costs in the summer while improving overall living space comfort. Reduced attic heat in your attic will allow air conditioned rooms below to stay cooler.
Roof vents are installed to allow air to circulate in your attic space. Good air circulation will minimize moisture build up in your attic during winter and prevent heat build up in summer. The number of roof vents needed will vary depending on the size of your attic.
